I am first and foremost a daughter of God. I also happen to be a New Yorker who moved south for college and never left. The Raleigh, North Carolina area has been home for nearly thirty years now. I began my professional life as a lawyer, but after the birth of my first child, I stepped away from what was an intensely stressful career and ultimately not aligned with who I was meant to become. Without a clear roadmap for what would follow, I stepped forward in faith and began building businesses in the online space - a journey that has now spanned more than twenty years.
Over the years, I’ve founded and grown multiple online businesses, including several e-commerce brands. I’ve had the honor of ranking among Etsy’s top 0.1% of sellers. Across each endeavor, my priorities have remained the same: quality, affordability, integrity, and attention to detail. I believe details are never small things.
The way I build my businesses reflects the way I live my life. Health and stewardship are central to me. I strive to care well for the body God has entrusted to me, and I carry that same intention into my businesses - choosing non-toxic materials, durability, thoughtful construction, and responsible packaging. That commitment extends beyond the products themselves to the way we work and the standards we hold behind the scenes.
All of this flows from something deeper though; at the center of it all is my faith.
Most importantly, I am a follower of Jesus. I’m married to a wonderful man who also loves Jesus, and together we have raised five incredible adult children, along with several beloved dogs over the years. Currently, our wildly enthusiastic vizsla and our grumpy little Boston terrier “supervise” the Glory’d workshop, chewing bones and keeping us company while we pack orders and correspond with customers.
Glory’d began as a calling I could not ignore - one I believe was placed on my heart by God and meant for His glory. It is built on a foundation of high standards, durable craftsmanship, and a desire to honor the forgiveness the Lord has so graciously given us. I am deeply grateful for the work I’ve been entrusted with and for the opportunity to give Him the glory in all of it.
